Status Generalist


Responsible for performing data entry duties related to status updates in an efficient and accurate manner by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs work per established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) within established SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
  • Accepts phone calls from servers to update computer system with respect to server assignment and client requirements, including asking pertinent questions to complete said update correctly.
  • Contacts servers for required and immediate updates.
  • Applies knowledge of some client requirements to the processing and accepting of status updates.
  • Actively identifies issues relating to status updates such as misinformation and server error.
  • Consistently reviews individual email inbox as well as updates and photos email inbox.
  • Has knowledge of proprietary system and how to navigate appropriately to ensure servers have clear instruction for successful service
  • Resolves or reports problems encountered immediately, including unreadable data, unacceptable data, equipment malfunctions and any other problems to the reporting supervisor.
  • Assists in answering phone calls when needed that may not be department specific.
  • Communicates as needed via phone & e-mail
  • Performs various clerical duties to include, but not limited to:
    • Typing
    • Photocopying/printing
    • Faxing/scanning
  • Provides assistance to other departments as needed.
