Saturday March 31st was the National Walk for Epilepsy on the Washington Mall. DGR takes part in this every year, as Jerry and Debbie’s daughter has lived with epilepsy for over 11 years. All the proceeds for the walk go to fight stigma, raise awareness and find a cure for epilepsy.
This year Team DGR raised $2,845! We couldn’t be more grateful to those who helped us far exceed our fundraising goal and who have contributed to the Epilepsy Foundation.
With a gorgeous day and clear sky (unlike what everyone back in Jersey had!) it turned out to be perfect weather for the walk, which was a little over 2 miles.
